Masters Tournament Policies

As badges become available for the Masters Tournament, we would like to inform our Travel Consultants of the terms that apply to this unique event.

Rainout Policy

Augusta National, Inc. (ANI) reserves the right to suspend the Tournament or close the golf course because of adverse weather conditions, or for other safety reasons.

In such situations, no refunds, rain checks, exchanges or replacements will be made.

Should a rainout occur on Sunday, April 8, anyone who purchased a badge granting admission on Sunday will be allowed to use that badge for admission on Monday, when final round play will resume. This policy applies to full tournament badges, Sunday-only, and any multi-day badges and/or tickets that included Sunday admission.

Badge Pick-up & Return Policy

All Masters Tournament badges will need to be picked up in Augusta, GA near Augusta National Golf Club.

Masters badges are prized possessions and the waiting list to be a patron that is granted the opportunity to purchase a badge each year was so popular that it was closed in 1978. Those lucky enough to be “season ticket holders” of Masters badges literally will them to their spouse upon death. Because of this, Masters patrons do not want their badges to remain out in the public after the event and therefore demand that all badges be returned in order to protect their valuable patron account.

Therefore upon pick-up a refundable deposit will be required.

Full Tournament Badges

All Masters Badges for the full tournament must be returned within 2 weeks or the buyer will be charged $1,000 per unreturned badge.

Daily Tournament Badges & Half Day Tournament Badges

If your client purchases a tournament badge for single or multiple days, the client must ensure that it is returned by 9:00 P.M. on the final day it was purchased for or the buyer will be charged the cost of replacement for each subsequent day, and an additional $1,000 if it is never returned.

If your client purchases a half day tournament badge (Ex. AM or PM), the client must ensure that is not returned on time (Either 2pm or 9pm) or the buyer will be charged the cost of replacement for each subsequent day, and an additional $1,000 if it is never returned.

Practice Day Badges

Badges purchased for Monday–Wednesday admission do not need to be returned.
