MLB All-Star Week
South Florida plays hosts for the very first time to one of the best events in all of sports: MLB All Star Weekend. The best baseball players on the planet will be showcasing their skills in Miami for a celebration of America’s favorite pastime.
All-Star Week is a family-friendly event featuring endless activities that keep everyone entertained and excited about baseball. Starting Friday, July 7th with MLB All-Star FanFest at the Miami Beach Convention Center and culminating with the “88th Midsummer Classic” on Tuesday, July 11th at Marlins Park, home of the Miami Marlins.
All-Star week is THE baseball event of the year that fans plan to travel for. In fact, hotels serving the surrounding area of All-Star game venues consistently sell out. About Marlins Park
Marlins Park showcases a retractable roof air-conditioned ballpark that is uniquely Miami. Completed in 2012, the baseball stadium is LEED certified as the greenest MLB park in 2012. It is the third-smallest stadium in the MLB, which provides a more intimate baseball viewing experience with a seating capacity of 37,442.
The Clevelander is a sports bar in Center Field that brings a little bit of South Beach to the heart of Little Havana and Marlins Park.
