UFC 205: New York
For the first time in nearly 20 years an Ultimate Fighting Championship match will be played in New York on November 12th. Following a nearly 20-year legal battle, New York has finally lifted a ban on Mixed Martial Arts paving the way for an epic line up of fighters at Madison Square Garden for UFC 205. The fight card is highlighted by featherweight championship & Irish superstar Conor McGregor in his attempt to make history against lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez. The UFC expects this to be the highest-grossing event in its history. VIP ringside seats are going for over $20k but plenty of more reasonably priced tickets are still available through Events 365.
UFC 206: Toronto
On December 10th, the Air Canada Centre in Toronto plays host to UFC 206. Toronto was host of the largest UFC event in North American history on April 30th, 2011 when 55,000 fans at the Rogers Centre witnessed George St. Pierre defend his title belt against Jake Shields. The main event will feature light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier vs Anthony Johnson in a rematch of their epic May 2015 bout with an undercard featuring Canada’s best fighters versus the World.
UFC 207: Las Vegas
Ronda “Rowdy” Rousey returns to the Octagon after a 13 month absence on December 30th at The T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. After falling victim to one of the biggest upsets in UFC history when she lost to Holly Holm in UFC 193, Rousey’s highly anticipated comeback pits her against champion Amanda “The Lioness” Nunes in an attempt to regain her bantamweight belt.
