Las Vegas, Nevada is one of the Entertainment Capitals of the world for many reasons, ranging from the magic shows, world-class shopping and restaurants, to the unmistakably boozy pool parties.
At Events 365, we think that the residencies are what sets Vegas apart from the rest. While classic acts like Cher, Celine Dion, Donnie & Marie Osborne, and Prince set the stage for current-day artists to thrive on the Strip, we think that this year’s newcomers are opening up a new chapter in Las Vegas history for the genre and style of artists making a name for themselves in the international tourist-destination. Read on to see who your clients may be interested in seeing on during their next vacation.
Artist: Gwen Stefani
Show: Just a Girl
Venue: Planet Hollywood’s Zappos Theater
Dates: 25-date: June 27 – March 17
SoCal singer and performer extrordinaire, Gwen Stefani, is realizing one of her life-long dreams of creating a dazzling show for Las Vegas. Her upbeat songs and funky style are a perfect fit for the entertainment capital of the world that demands shaking things up to draw in the crowds.
What we already know, about a month out from the premiere, is that the show is being custom designed to fit the 4,600 capacity theater, which features ultra-high def projectors and LED walls. If Jennifer Lopez’s “All I Have” residency was any indicator of how well a female performer can fare in the Zappos Theater, Stefani’s residency is sure to be a true success.
Fans will have to eagerly await show-time to discover whether or not her long-time boyfriend, country-star, Blake Shelton will inspire her to infuse a little bit of country into her historically punk-pop performances.
Thank u for the amazing welcome Las Vegas!! ❤️? Can’t wait to start my residency in June gx https://t.co/lfGd6aMsTC #JustAGirlVegas pic.twitter.com/RP4VadTfye

Artist: Blink 182
Show: Kings of the Weekend
Venue: Pearl at the Palms Casino
Dates: 16-date: May 26 – November 17
The timing between Blink-182’s new album and The Palms Casino in Las Vegas’s reconstruction and transformation seems to have been perfectly aligned in the universe of live events and entertainment. Both entities, who are making strides to remain relevant in their respective industries, are well positioned in this collaboration to make a splash on the residency scene. While most current and upcoming acts on the Strip are classic or pop, Blink 182 will offer an attractive option for folks more interested in rock/pop-punk
The Palms is also doing things differently than the other guys by spreading the presence of their residency act throughout the entire property. Blink 182 can be found playing in the overhead music, while images of the trio will be featured on table felts and key cards.
Having completed a successful tour in 2016 with their new bassist, Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba, we expect Blink 182 to be one of the new favorites for residency seekers visiting Las Vegas.
We want to see YOU when our #KingsOfTheWeekend Vegas Residency takes over @PearlatPalms this Summer & Fall!
