Beyonce and Jay-Z are On the Run again with their OTRII tour, which kicks off this summer in Cardiff, UK. This marks the first time that the hip hop power couple are touring since their first “On the Run” tour of 2014, and comes fresh off the heels of an electric and monumental Saturday night headlining performance at Coachella from the Queen Bey herself.
Beyonce and Jay-Z are undeniably two of the biggest names in their own genres, and in the music industry at large. That said, their tour is the second highest in demand this year, falling shortly behind Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. Men and women, and boys and girls know the two artists and we anticipate the tour will draw crowds of all ages to the event.
The couple, who have three children together: 6 year-old Blue Ivy, and 10-month old twins Sir and Rumi, are no strangers to performing live, whether that be on their own or together. Beyonce, however, has been defined as one of the greatest performers of all time and this will surely be her time to shine. Don’t just take our word for it, see what LA Times, rolling out, and Vox had to say about it.
The newest tour, however, will offer a glimpse into the hard work that the couple invested in their relationship over the past few years, amid speculation and revelation that Jay-Z had been unfaithful. Both parties have poured their emotions and experiences into their most recent albums, and the resulting onstage chemistry promises to be magnetic.
