2016’s Biggest Musical Event
It’s being touted as “the rock and roll dream concert of a lifetime” and has generated what is estimated to be the highest box office gross in concert history.
An unprecedented lineup of musical legends including The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, Roger Waters and The Who will each be performing full sets at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California over the course of 2 weekends.
“Desert Trip” kicks off Friday, October 7th starting at 2:00pm as The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan take the stage in front of thousands of fans. Saturday, October 8th Paul McCartney and Neil Young will put on memorizing performances that you don’t want to miss. And if that isn’t enough, Desert Trip has Roger Waters and The Who to keep the party going on Sunday, October 9th.
And then the next weekend, October 14-16, they’ll be doing it again.
The music will not be the only attraction at Desert Trip as culinary stars such as Marcus Samuelsson (Red Rooster), Daniel Humm (Eleven Madison Park) & Curtis Stone (Maude) highlight a lineup of over 20 of the best chefs in America who will be serving up some of their favorite dishes.
In addition, Desert Trip presents an excellent craft beer program with beer master Greg Koch, cocktail king Cedd Moses, and Wine Spectator Grand Award-winning sommelier and winemaker Rajat Parr.
It’s not cheap. This will set people back close to thousands of dollars per person, depending on where you stay, stand or sit, and what you eat and sip. But as a once-in-a-lifetime experience, it will definitely be worth the price for thousands of fans.
